Enter a name in “Host Name” under Page 1/3 of the
LAN Setup menu, set the “DHCP Mode” to “Off“, and
enter the appropriate values for “IP Address”,
“Network Mask”, and “Gateway Address”.

Set “NAT Mode” to “On” under Page 2/3 of the LAN
Setup menu, and enter the appropriate IP address in
“WAP IP Address”.

Remote parties must configure Page 1/3 of the LAN
Setup menu in the same way.
If the remote parties are not in a NAT environment,
NAT settings in the LAN Setup menu must be
configured.
To conduct a video conference
Select “IP” for the line interface, enter the remote party’s
IP address in the text box, and dial.
You can set “IP” as the default line interface selection for
the launcher menu by setting “Line I/F” to “IP” in the Dial
settings of the Communication Mode menu.
For details on the setting, see “Communication Mode
Menu” on page 33.
When using the terminal in the NAT environment, you can
connect to a remote party (global IP), but for a remote
party to connect to you, you must configure your router
settings. For details on router settings, consult with the
system administrator.
LAN (Connecting With H.460
Firewall Traversal)
You can use H.460 to traverse firewalls and conduct
conferences with terminals on other networks.
Configuration example

Set “NAT/Firewall Traversal” to “On (H.460)” under
Page 3/3 of the LAN Setup menu.
You must set up the gatekeeper to use this function.
