Telepresence series products are deployed at all sites. MCUs are deployed based on
actual networks and capacity requirements at different levels.
Depending on the physical size of each site and its environment, telepresence units with
two rows of conference tables (such as the TP3218) are deployed at large sites,
three-screen telepresence units (such as the TP3106-70 and TP3106-70) are deployed at
small to medium sites, and RP series telepresence units are deployed at small sites and
executive offices.
Based on customers' needs, recording devices can be deployed at important sites.
This solution has the following features, advantages, and benefits:
Ultra-HD video in nearly true-to-life dimensions, sound localization, and face-to-face
communication are available at all conference sites.
IP data connections can be used to access networks with ensured high line reliability.
The ViewPoint 8660 and ViewPoint 8650 MCUs, which feature the highest security and
reliability in the industry, or the VP9000 series MCUs, which support universal
transcoding, are used to host conferences. Hierarchical and role-based management of
MCUs is supported in a distributed manner.
The MCUs can be used in large-scale networks. One ViewPoint 8660 MCU supports 170
three-screen or 512 single-screen telepresence sites. Multiple MCUs can be cascaded in
multi-channel mode to support larger-scale networks.
Single-screen systems can access the network, bringing the telepresence experience to
small conference rooms and executive offices.
Recording and on-demand playback functions are available.
