Parameter requirements: Set baud rate to 9600, data bit to 8, parity to none, stop bit
to 1 and flow control to none. Select VT100 as terminal emulation. The specific
methods are as follows:
1) Click
Start > Program > Accessories > Communications > HyperTerminal
to enter the
HyperTerminal
window and click icon
to establish a new
connection, then the
Connection Description
window will pop up, as shown in
the following figure.

2) Type the name of the new connection in the connection description interface
and click <OK>, the following interface will pop up. Select the serial port to be
used in the Connect using box.
