Step 3

Set up a logical connection between sites A and B.
1.

Configure host port IP addresses.

This step is fundamental for setting up a logical connection between the two storage
systems. The following uses port

CTE0.R5.IOM0.P0

on the primary storage system at

site A as an example to describe how to configure a port IP address. The procedure for
any other host port on either site is the same.

In the navigation tree, click

Provisioning

whose IP address you want to change. Click
