Connect the PDU connector to an external power source. 

3 Connecting Cables 

 Power distribution unit (PDU) connectors are shipped with the storage system. Assemble the PDU 

connectors, as shown in the following figures. After the external PDU power cable of a bay is connected, 

bind the slack of the cable to the top or bottom of the bay. Skip this step if the pre-assembled PDU 

connectors are already available. 

 Each PDU in a bay should be connected to an independent power supply. In a scenario where four 

PDUs exist, four power supplies are required.
