Cable connections to Hall effect sensors (1)
If the battery string is not configured with a neutral wire, connect the Hall effect sensor on the positive
or negative battery string cable to the HALL_1 current monitoring port on the CIM.
If the battery string is configured with a neutral wire and each of the positive and
negative battery string cables connects to two or more Hall effect sensors. For example,
if each of the positive and negative battery string cables connects to two Hall effect
sensors, connect the Hall effect sensors on the positive battery string terminal side to the
HALL_1 and HALL_2 current monitoring ports on the CIM, and connect the Hall effect
sensors on the negative battery string terminal side to the HALL_3 and HALL_4 current
monitoring ports on the CIM.
If the positive or negative battery string cable is too thick to be routed through the Hall effect sensor, or
the measurement range of the Hall effect sensor is not enough, you can connect two or more Hall effect
sensors to each of the positive and negative battery string cables to monitor the current of one battery
string.
