2.5.10 Calling Party's Name, Number, and Department Are Not
Displayed on an IP Phone with LDAP Configured

Symptom
After LDAP is configured on an IP phone, the name, number, and department of a calling
party fails to be displayed on the IP phone.

How to Resolve
The local contact information is incomplete.
If the calling number is saved in the local address
book of the IP phone, the information about this
calling number specified in the local address
book will be displayed on the phone screen.
Complete the information about the
calling number in the local address
book.
The LDAP directory configured on the IP phone
is incorrect or the configuration is incomplete.
Verify that the LDAP directory is
correctly configured on the IP phone.

Symptom
A user has parked an ongoing call on an IP phone (IP phone A) and wants to retrieve the call
on another IP phone (IP phone B). However, the softkey for retrieving the parked call is
unavailable on IP phone B, or even if that softkey is available, the call fails to be retrieved.
