Moving on the map

Swipe your finger on the screen or press the navigation keys on the

slide-out keyboard to view other areas of the map.

Zooming in or out of a map

Tap

to zoom in; tap

to zoom out.

Changing the map view

Bing Maps opens on a road map. You can view the same map in a

satellite, hybrid, or traffic view.

While viewing a map, press MENU, and then tap

Map type

Select any of the following.

Traffic

(available only in selected areas). Real-time traffic

conditions are displayed over roads as color-coded lines.

Each color represents how fast the traffic is moving.

Satellite

. Bing Maps uses satellite imagery to display the location.

Hybrid

. Displays the satellite view of the map plus location

information such as street names, and names of places of

interests.
