SW 17

Hold the spacer (5) using a SW14 open-end wrench. Loosen the

chuck jaw housing (5) with an SW17 open-end wrench and pull

it off.

At the fast exchange system you have to pull back the latch (silver). After that you can

unscrew the chuck jaw housing easily. At the fastening of the housing you don´t need

to pull back the latch. The change of the extension is the same as at the standard

pulling unit.

Clean the chuck jaws (6) with a soft wire brush and check it for

damage. Moisten the chuck jaws carefully with a fl uid oil, fat or

tefl on spray.

Attention! Don´t clean the blind riveter with fat-soluble remedies

or water!

Check the compression rod (7) and the compression spring (8)

for damage.

Install the components in the reverse order.

6.4. Storage

Please bear in mind the following when storing your riveting tool:

• Remove the battery when you are not using the riveting tool.

• If you do not use the battery for a long period of time, it should be stored fully charged

in a dry place and protected from dust.

• Store the riveting tool in a dry place that is protected from water spray.

• Store the riveting tool in a well-ventilated room and protect from dust.

• Make sure that the storage environment is free from aggressive chemicals and vapors.

6.5. Disposal

Dispose of the riveting tool components properly. The riveting tool and individual parts

do not belong in household garbage. Dispose the of at special collection points for used

electrical devices.

The battery is not subject to regular waste. Take it to a battery collection point or return it

to the manufacturer for disposal.
