Connect the SAS and power cords to the tape drive and plug the other end of the power
cord into the power outlet.

Reboot the server
Switch on the tape drive and power up the server. The power on/off switch is on the front panel.
Watch the boot screen carefully after installation. If there are any error or unexpected messages
go back and check the SAS cabling carefully.
If the problem is unresolved, refer to
for further guidelines.
