Removing rackmount rails
To remove rackmount rails:
1.
Remove the chassis from the rack (on page 83 ).
2.
Place the chassis on a clean work space.
3.
Remove the screws securing the inner rail.
4.
Slide the inner rail backward to release and remove the inner rail.
5.
Repeat the procedures for the remaining inner rail.
6.
Push the rear latch to release the rear bracket and remove the rear bracket from the rack post.
7.
Push the front latch to release the front bracket and remove the front bracket from the rack post.
8.
Remove the outer rail from the rack.
9.
Repeat the procedures for the remaining outer rail.
