Cause
• The DIMM is not installed or seated properly.
• The DIMM has failed.
Action
1. Reseat the DIMM.
2. Update the BIOS to the latest version.
3. If the issue still exists, then replace the DIMM.
Correctable memory error threshold exceeded
Symptom
• Performance is degraded.
• The System Status LED is amber.
• ECC errors occur with no other symptoms.
Cause
• The DIMM is not installed or seated properly.
• The DIMM has failed.
Action
1. Update the BIOS to the latest version.
2. Replace the DIMM.
