Configuring and Deploying Server Blades

Connect the I/O cable to the server blade (1).

Connect a monitor to the video connector (2).

Connect a USB hub to a USB connector (3).

Connect the following to the USB hub:

USB CD-ROM (4) and/or a USB diskette drive

USB keyboard (5)

USB mouse (6)

NOTE: HP recommends the use of a USB hub when connecting a USB diskette drive and/or
USB CD-ROM drive to the server blade. This will provide more available connections.

USB CD-ROM Deployment

CD-ROM deployment involves a bootable CD that executes a script that configures
the hardware and installs the operating system.
