Configuring the Server
Boot Disk Diagnostic
The boot disk diagnostic can be used to verify the presence and readiness of a
primary boot controller. If a controller is present and ready, the test also checks for a
valid operating system boot sector. All three of these tests should pass in the case
where a bootable operating system is installed on the server. If any of the tests fail,
there will be a problem booting the server.
