Loosen the three Torx T8M2.5×11.0 screws that secure the keyboard to the computer.

Turn the computer display-side up, with the front toward you.

Open the computer as far as possible.

Slide the four keyboard retention tabs

 keys, between the

Lift the rear edge of the keyboard

 and swing it toward you until it rests on the palm rest.

Release the zero insertion force (ZIF) connector
