Perform the following tasks to meet the power requirements:

Procedure

1. Calculate the system power consumption. The system power consumption varies by module type and

density. (See System power consumption.)

2. Identify the number of power supplies. Include sufficient power to meet power consumption and

sufficient redundancy to ensure system uptime in the event of a PSU failure.

3. Verify that the power system at the installation site meets the requirements of the power supplies,

including the input method and rated input voltage. (For power supply unit (PSU) information, see
