DISMANTLING INSTRUCTIONS
SAFETY NOTES
1. Ensure that the appliance is disconnected from the electrical supply before dismantling.
2. Beware of sharp edges on metal panels, plastic mouldings, and pressed parts.
3. Some fixings (especially those into plastic) must be tightened to the correct specification using a
suitable torque wrench.
4. Insulation resistance tests must be carried out with the pressure switch set to ensure that the water
heater is 'in-circuit' during the test.
These appliances are manufactured with a '3 phase' motor and uses a different type of power
module.
This power board is fitted with a large aluminium heat sink which remains live after
the power is disconnected.
Under no circumstances
should the board be removed under the time shown below.
Alternative 'quick methods' of discharging the board
SHOULD NOT
be used or attempted.!
A Top Cover
1. Remove the 2 screws securing the top panel and lift clear.
B Back Panel
1. Remove the screws securing the panel.
2. Slide the panel down and lift clear.
C Door Assembly
1. Remove the top cover (A).
2. From inside the machine, disconnect the
lead to the display.
3. Remove the 2 screws from each hinge
fixing the door assembly to the cabinet.
4. Carefully ease the lead to the display
through the hinge slots.
IMPORTANT NOTE
Risk of Electric Shock
The metal heatsink fitted on the Power Module
may hold an electrical charge for a short period
after switching off the machine.
Allow 5 minutes after disconnecting the
machine from the electrical supply before
commencing ANY work.
