4.5 Ice Bank
All polaris chiller units are suitable for ice bank operation as an alternative to glycol / water. Simply fill
tank with water, no other change over is required.
Refrigeration Unit will not operate unless the tank is full of fluid. Icebank / Glycol level control also
provides refrigeration high temperature protection. If red led on control board is lit, rectify cause of
high liquid line temperature, then turn off / on to reset.
