the information before operating equipment.

The owner and/or user of this equipment must have an understanding of the manufacturer’s operating
instructions and warnings before using the portable traffic signal system. Personnel involved in the use
and operation of equipment shall be careful, competent, and trained in the safe operation of the
equipment. Warning information should be emphasized and understood. If the operator is not fluent in
English, the manufacturer’s instructions and warnings shall be discussed in the operator’s native language
by the purchaser or owner.
Note: All add-on components (excluding Remote Monitoring Service) must be removed for transport and
storage, i.e. traffic sensors, preemption, video cameras, wait time status display, left turns, pilot car
modules etc.
