d. Under abusive conditions, liquid may be ejected from the battery; avoid contact. If
contact accidentally occurs, flush with water. If liquid contacts eyes, additionally
seek medical help. Liquid ejected from the battery may cause irritation or burns.
e. Do not use a battery pack or tool that is damaged or modified. Damaged or
modified batteries may exhibit unpredictable behaviour resulting in fire, explosion
or risk of injury.
f. Do not expose a battery pack or tool to fire or excessive temperature. Exposure to
fire or temperature above 130 °C may cause explosion.
g. Follow all charging instructions and do not charge the battery pack or tool outside
the temperature range specified in the instructions. Charging improperly or at
temperatures outside the specified range may damage the battery and increase
the risk of fire

Service
a. Have your power tool serviced by a qualified repair person using only identical
replacement parts. This will ensure that the safety of the power tool is maintained.
b. Never service damaged battery packs. Service of battery packs should only be
performed by the manufacturer or authorized service providers.

Additional safety instructions for battery pack
a. Never attempt to open the battery for any reason. If the plastic casing of the
battery is broken or cracked, submit the battery for recycling.
b. Maximum durability and performance can be achieved if the battery is stored and
charged at ambient temperature 15 ºC – 25 ºC. It is not recommended to charge
the battery at ambient temperatures below +5 ºC or above +40 ºC.
c. The charger and battery pack may become warm to touch while charging. This is
a normal condition, and does not indicate a problem.
d. To prevent overheating, do not charge battery packs in direct sunlight in hot
weather or near heat sources.
e. Do not charge inside a box or container of any kind. The battery must be placed in
a well ventilated area during charging.
f. When the battery is defective, liquid can escape and come into contact with
adjacent components. Check any parts concerned. Clean such parts or replace
them, if required.
g. Do not incinerate the battery pack even if it is seriously damaged or can no longer
hold a charge. The battery pack can explode in a fire.
h. To facilitate cooling the battery pack after usage in hot weather, avoid using the
charger or battery under metal shed or caravan without thermal insulation.
i. When battery is not in use, keep it away from paper clips, coins, keys, nails,
screws, or other small metal objects which may cause short circuit between
battery terminals. Shorting the battery terminals may cause fire or explosion
