7. Now you can pull-in the threaded mandrel (4) via the arrow key
Down until the blind
rivet nut / blind rivet screws is positioned about 0.5mm in front of the mouthpiece (2).
Confirm this position with OK
8. Then you will be asked via the OK and arrow buttons (7) whether you want to set the
blind rivet nut / blind rivet stud by force or stroke and then you can enter the force or
the stroke.
Note: The force and stroke values given in Table 1 are only reference values, in
case of doubt you should always use a lower value when setting up. If you
specify very small force values, the riveting tool will also ask you to enter a
stroke value. You have to feel your way to the stroke value, as this depends on
the material thickness in which the blind rivet nut / blind rivet stud is to be set.
Here, too, it is important to start with a small value.
9. The riveting tool then prompts you to place a blind rivet nut / blind rivet studs and to
confirm the result or to re-enter and test the value of stroke and force. This loop can be
repeated as often as you like until you are satisfied with the placement result.
10. You will then be asked to set the unscrewing mode. This can be defined using the
arrow keys (7) and OK between the mandrel (4) and the trigger (10)
11. Then you can save this setup with SAVE YES / NO in the memory slots 00-99. If
there is already data on the selected storage space, a warning to OVERWRITE YES
/NO is issued and, if necessary, another storage space is requested. Then you will get
back into the settings menu. (Note: The storage spaces can be found in the menu
under SERVICE)
12. In the Settings menu you can also change existing settings at any time using the
Adjust & Save menu item.
