Software-Update

To Update the tool software, you can receive an update by E-Mail if the tool is registered

via homepage or download it from the website www.honsel.de. Use the USB adapter with

the SD-Card to load the update file rnt_app.hex from your computer to the SD-Card.

Before you copy, make sure the SD-Card is empty. Only use the SD-Card supplied with

the tool. Open the cover (4) to access the SD-Card slot. Place the SD-Card into the slot.

Remove the battery (14) and press the trigger (10) for two seconds. Insert the battery

(14). Don’t wake the tool up! Press and hold first the left (L) and right (R) arrow keys

together and then press the trigger (10). Release arrow keys (L) and (R) and trigger (10).

In the screen you can monitor the software update. When the software update is done,

the tool goes back to standby and you can start the tool again with the trigger. The SD-

Card can remain in the SD-Card slot. Close the cover (4).
