Remove the terminal strips from connectors J1 (24 VAC) and J6 (contacts),
loosen the screws and insert the 24 VAC power and contact wires. Tighten screws.

Ensure the 6-pin terminal strip (J6) is plugged into the 6-pin connector and the 3-pin
terminal strip (J1) is plugged into the 3-pin connector.

Feed extra wire and cable up through the hole in the housing and route it so that it
doesn't interfere with the scan assembly when it is inserted. At the appropriate time
during the installation, ensure the field wiring access hole is sealed to prevent anything
from getting inside the housing.

Connect a CAT5 RJ45 network cable to the Ethernet connector. The RJ45 Ethernet
connector is used to connect the dome to your network.

After connecting the power cabling, install the ferrite clamp (shipped with the housing)
on the cable as close to the dome as possible, preferably within 24 inches (609 mm).

Each ACUIX IP requires a 24 VAC ± 10% power source when measured at the dome. Refer to inset       for the wire gauge table and
required maximum distances to maintain. The wire sizes and distances represent one 24 VAC power source for one ACUIX IP.

There are no switch settings required on the IP housing interface board
unless the dome needs to be reset to defaults as above.

Remove the plug-in terminal block on J6.

Connect a twisted-pair cable from each peripheral
contact to each input at the contact number
terminal and the contact common terminal on J6.
