Launch the Web-Client, View Live Video and Configure the Device
You can log onto the Web-Client in two ways: (1) From the
IP Utility
Discovery pane, connect to the device
and click
Launch Browser
or (2) From
Internet Explorer
(v6.0+), enter the IP address (URL) in the address
bar.
On the ACUIX IP Web-Client logon page, select
Administrator
from the
User Name
drop down list and enter
the default password
1234
.
If you only want to view the streaming video and not make any configuration
changes, select
Guest
and enter the password
guest
.
Click to log onto the ACUIX IP Web-Client.
A signed version of ActiveX® control is installed when you use the Web-Client to discover connected devices
for the first time. If you have a previous version of IP ActiveX is installed, you are prompted to upgrade to
Honeywell secure ActiveX control.

Open Internet Explorer. Navigate to
Tools > Internet Options …
Security
tab.
With
Internet
selected, click
Custom Level …
. The
Security Settings
window opens.
In the ActiveX controls and plug-ins section, select
Enable
(preferable)
or
Prompt
in the Download signed ActiveX controls subsection.
Click
OK
. Follow the prompts to complete the installation.
When the
InstallShield Wizard Completed
displays, click
Finish
.
The Web-Client interface opens and live streaming video displays.
