Install the Scan Assembly and Lower Dome

Remove the plastic lens cap. Do not touch the lens.
Rotate and line up the scan assembly yellow label to the housing
yellow label. Gently push the scan into the housing until the two guides
lock/snap into the holes on the housing guides.
Gently pull down on the assembly to ensure it has properly latched into
place.

Rugged
Clip the lanyard from the lower dome to the mounting post in the housing.
Insert the trim ring and align the lower dome tab hooks with the 3 mounting posts on the housing.
Twist to lock the lower dome into the housing.
In-ceiling
Indoor and Outdoor Pendant
Clip the lanyard from the lower dome to the mounting post in the housing.
Although the captive screw is installed correctly on the housing at the factory,
it is recommended that you check it is loosened slightly to ensure it is not in
the path of the lower dome gasket during the rest of the installation.
Confirm that the trim ring gasket is in place around the inner groove of the
lower dome and then push the lower dome into the housing until it is sitting
firmly along the bottom edge of the housing. Tighten the captive screws.
Clip the lanyard from the lower dome to the mounting post in the housing.
Align the 4 lower dome screws with the 4 housing screw holes. Press the lower
dome into the housing and turn the security screws using the provided hex key.

If the trim ring gasket has shifted from its correct placement,
DO NOT
stretch the gasket
or the dome may not be sealed properly to protect it from dust and moisture, which may
damage the ACUIX PTZ dome over time.
The trim ring gasket is pre-installed at the factory. It is only correctly
installed in one direction and on one groove.
If you are replacing or adjusting this gasket, ensure you push it all the
way down in the groove with the flat side of the trim ring gasket
installed towards the inside of the groove and upper lip towards the
upper edge of the groove.
