7.4 Basic Program

High Speed counter parameters can be set by scan program using:

•

Tx (Write) instructions of PUT, PUTP

•

Rx (Read) instructions of GET, GETP

•

I/O parameters Write/Read

High Speed counter's instruction enabled and status monitoring can be executed through

Write/Read of U contact.

Operation through Program

The PLC system configuration is displayed as shown below. The High Speed counter

module installed on slot 1 is referred to as 2MLF-HD2A unless stated differently.

Count Type Setting through I/O parameters Read/write

The default status for counter mode is Linear Count. Ring Count is specified as shown in

below (

I/O Parameters > Parameters setting

).Here the parameter-setting screen is used

for writing the ring count maximum value and the ring count minimum value together on

the internal memory of the High Speed counter module.
