STARTING SYSTEM
Hold the starter case and rotate the starter reel three
turns in the direction of the arrow for preliminary
winding.
Pass the starter rope end through the case and pull it
outwards [1].
Pass the starter rope through the starter knob and tie
the rope so that it can be untied easily [2] by pulling it as
shown.
Set the friction spring to the starter reel. install the
swing arms, swing arm collar as shown, and secure the
starter reel with the set screw [1].
Pull the starter knob several times and check to see
whether the swing arm [2] operates properly.
