MAINTENANCE
COMBUSTION CHAMBER CLEANING
Prepare a protective lining of thick paper or equivalent
material with a diameter large enough to fit against the
cylinder inner bore, and insert it into the cylinder.
Attach a commercially available cleaning brush [1] to an
electric drill and clean the combustion chamber.
• Be sure to insert a thick paper or equivalent into the
cylinder to protect the inner wall of the cylinder
during cleaning.
• Do not press the cleaning brush with force against
the combustion chamber.
FUEL TANK AND FILTER CLEANING/
FUEL TUBE CHECK
Drain the fuel in a suitable container and disconnect the
fuel tank tube [1].
Remove the fuel filter [2].
Remove any foreign material from the fuel filter, and
check the fuel filter for damage.
Clean the fuel tank with cleaning solvent and allow the
fuel tank to dry thoroughly.
After cleaning, set the fuel filter in the fuel tank and
connect the fuel tank tube.
Install the fuel tank and check for fuel leakage from the
fuel tank tube.

fuel.
• Keep heat, sparks, and flame away.
• Handle fuel only outdoors.
• Wipe up spills immediately.
