8.1 Selection of the saw blade
Before you run an application on a table saw, it is import
-
ant to consider the selection of the saw blade. There are
many different types of leaves available. The machine
comes with a good multi-purpose saw blade. For special
applications, a saw blade with a different tooth pattern
may be required.
A table saw can be equipped with two different saw
blade types:
- An alternating helical saw blade.
- or a triple comb tooth saw blade.
Choose the correct saw blade for the job, depending on
the type of material and the cut to be made, see the table
below.
Components of the saw unit:
- worktable
- sawblade
- table stakes
- Handwheel for height adjustment
- Handwheel for setting the carpenter square.
- parallel guide
- Sliding table with carpenter square led.
- Cover for the removal of wood splinters with connec
-
tion for the extraction system.
Work rules:
- When sawing workpieces in length, use the parallel
guide stopper.
- To cut narrower workpieces in length, use a slider
or similar tool to press.
- When machining workpieces with a large surface
or when sawing across the width of the table,
please use the adjustable Carpenter square.
- Never remove the workpiece from the table without
having completed the operation.
- Make adjustments to the cutting height and the
Carpenter square only if the machine is dis
-
connected from the net.
- Press the workpiece evenly without impact during
the sawing process.
- In order to improve the quality of the saw and to
avoid having to recut the piece, you must install the
saw blade in such a way that several teeth (at least
2) are always engaged at the same time. If this is
not possible, you must use a saw blade with finer
teeth.
