Setting for rip-fence
Adjusting clamping force
The clamping force and thus the sideways movement can
be adjusted by means of the screw (1)..
NOTICE
A screw that is too tight can lead to component
failure, while a spring that is too weak can cause
the set position isn’t hold in place during
operation.
Optimum clamping force is given when the fixing lever (2)
can still be pressed down slightly and the stop is still in
position.
Set parallelism of rip fence
The alignment of the rip fence to the saw blade can be
adjusted by means of the two screws (1).
For an optimal parallel adjustment. Loosen the two screws
(1), position the rip fence towards the saw blade, then fix it
in position with the fixing lever and fix the two screws (1)
again.
Setting the display scale of the rip fence
The indicator scales (1 and 3) can be moved in their
position to set the exact distance to the saw blade, loosen
the screw (1 or 2) and adjust to the exact value of the
current distance, then fix the screw again and check by
means of a measuring tape or cut.
