Calibration
Before an alignment is performed the aligner must be calibrated to the rack that alignments are done on.
Although the unit is shipped from the factory calibrated to zero we can not assume that all racks are exactly
level in the fi eld.
Raise the alignment rack to a comfortable working 1.
height.
From the Main Menu select the “Calibration” Icon

from the Main Carousel.
A “Warning” message appears instructing the user 4.
that the calibration process should be performed by
trained individuals. Click on “OK” to continue.
Select the Rack to be calibrated on. 5.
Place the calibration bar and stands, (calibration 6.
kit number EAK0222J02A) on the rear of the rack
as shown in the fi gure. Place the bar so that the
numbers stamped on the bar are on the left side
runway.
NOTE: IT WILL BE NECESSARY TO INSTALL
THE CALIBRATION BAR ADAPTER
(EAK0289J42A)ON THE END OF THE
CALIBRATION BAR WITH THE FLAT
SPOTS. THIS WILL ENSURE A SMOOTH
ROTATION OF THE BAR DURING
CALIBRATION
Install the EAK0289J42A Bar Adapter on the 7.
end with the numbers with the set screws at 12
o’clock.
Select the Pod Calibration button from the 3.
Calibration Carousel.
