PROBLEMS SOLUTION
The device does not remove creases
easily
• Hold the device vertically and
stretch the fabric for the best re-
sults.
Discolorations on the garments • Do not iron the places immediate-
ly adjacent to any metal parts or if
such parts are located behind the
ironed fabric.
8. CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE
Caution! Turn the device off, disconnect it from the power source and
wait until it cools down before starting cleaning or maintenance to avoid
electric shock or burn.
8.1 Basic principles
Correct and regular cleaning will improve the safety and extend the life span of
the device.
1. When you have finished using the device, turn it off and unplug it from the
power source.
2. Wait for 30 minutes until the device cools down.
3. Disconnect the hose and disassemble the frame.
4. Empty the water tank and the water tank compartment, as it may collect water.
For this purpose, carry the device to a bathroom or similar facility.
5. Unscrew the cap and discard the contents of the water tank into the sink.
Rinse the tank with water, then screw the cap back on.
6. Lift the device and empty the water tank compartment of any water.
7. Replace the water tank into the device.
8. If necessary, wipe the device dry with a soft cloth.
9. Store in a safe place.
10. Wipe the device with a slightly damp cloth, then wipe it dry.
11. You may wash the attachments with running water and leave them to dry.
8.2 Descaling
Caution! In order to minimize scaling, we recommend using distilled water. If it
is not possible to use distilled water, it is recommended to follow the descaling
procedure, described below, on a once per month schedule.
