7.5 Operation
Caution!
Do not use the device when the water tank is empty.
The device is an excellent tool for removing creases and refreshing clothes
and textiles, without having to use an iron. It can be used on most fabrics.
Take particular care when using with temperature-sensitive fabrics, such as
synthetics, polyamide or artificial silk. It is recommended to practise using the
device on a small piece of fabric in a less visible area or on a clothing item which
has not been worn yet.
1. Make sure the device is disconnected from the power source. Install one
of the attachments in accordance with the description in 7.4 Attachment
installation/removal.
2. Connect the device to a mains outlet with a grounded socket, the parameters
of which comply with the ones stated for the device in this manual or on the
device label.
3. Turn on the device by setting the dial to one of the 4 available operating
modes. The LED will light up, indicating that the device in turned on and is
heating up. It will be ready for use in approx. 30 seconds
