Note! The recipes for drying vegetables and their drying times are suggested
approximate values. Follow your own preferences.
NOTE: Do not place dried products in their storage containers when they are still
hot or warm.
Cycle “6” - Fruit
1. Wash the fruit.
2. Remove the stalks and cut off rotten parts.

Cut the fruit into pieces to fit them loosely on the drying trays.
4. You can soak the fruits in juice from the same fruit to avoid losing colour.
5. You can flavour the fruit with cinnamon or coconut flakes.
PREPARING FRUIT FOR DRYING
Proper preparation of fruit for drying will help preserve its natural colour, taste
and aroma.
The following instructions will help you prepare fruit for drying.
Prepare ¼ cup of juice (preferably natural) from the fruit you want to dry. For
example, use apple juice when drying apples.
Mix the juice with 2 cups of water. Soak the fruit in the mixture for 2 hours.
