Cleaning the Honeycomb Filter
PLEASE NOTE!
■
When rinsing the honeycomb fi lter, the water pressure must not be too great and
the water jet must not be too strong. This could damage the honeycomb fi lter.
■
Do not use any acidic or basic cleaning agents.
1. Take the cover with the honeycomb fi lter (

) out of the main device (

). To do this,
press down the release button and at the same time pull the cover towards you to
release it from the main device (

). Remove the cover up out of the main
device at an angle.
2. Remove the honeycomb fi lter from the cover.
3. Rinse the honeycomb fi lter under running water.
4. Allow the honeycomb fi lter to dry completely.
5. Insert the honeycomb fi lter into the cover.
6. Place the cover in the main device, press the release button down and at the same
time press the upper edge of the cover against the main device (

).
7. Let go of the release button to fi x the cover in the main device.
Storage
•
It is essential to remove the water from the water tank when the device is not
in use or before storing it away. Clean the water tank thoroughly before using
it again (see “Basic Cleaning”).
•
Store the device in a clean, dry place which is protected from dust and is out of the
reach of children and animals when it is not in use.
Maintenance
The device must be kept ready to operate. You should therefore change the honeycomb
fi lter (

) regularly (every 6 months) or as required.
