Use only original accessories from the manufacturer in order to guarantee that there
is no interference that may prevent the device from working and to avoid possible
damage.
NOTICE – Risk of Damage to Material and Property from Batteries

Use only the battery type specifi ed in the technical data.
■
Take the battery out of the remote control when it is dead or if you will not be using
the remote control for a prolonged period. This will prevent any damage caused by
leaks.
■
Do not use the remote control if a battery has leaked. Remove a dead battery from
the battery compartment immediately.
Before Initial Use / Preparation
•
Allow the freezer packs to freeze for at least 8 hours.
• Insert the battery which is supplied into the remote control (see the “Inserting /
Changing the Battery in the Remote Control” chapter).
•
Fill the water tank (

) (see the “Filling the Water Tank” chapter).
Inserting / Changing the Battery in the Remote Control
Before inserting the battery, check whether the contacts in the remote control and on
the battery are clean, and clean them if necessary.
1. The battery compartment is located on the narrow side of
the remote control. Pull it out as shown.
2. Remove the old battery and insert a new battery (3 V,
CR2032). The positive pole must be facing upwards.
3. Slide the battery compartment into the remote control.
You should feel and hear it click into place.
Replace the battery when the power of the remote control starts to wane.
Positioning and Connecting the Device
PLEASE NOTE!

The device must have a clear space of at least 1 m above it and on all sides and
be placed on a dry, fl at, solid and moisture-resistant surface.
Do
not
position
the device in the vicinity of objects and materials that are sensitive to moisture.
On damp materials such as curtains or similar objects, harmful microorganisms
may grow.
■
Only connect the device to a plug socket that is properly installed and matches
the technical data of the device. The plug socket must also be readily accessible
after connection so that the connection to the mains can quickly be isolated.
■
Lay the connecting cable in such a way that it does not become squashed or
bent and does not come into contact with hot surfaces.
1. Position the device in the location you want.
