10. Built-in devices

10.1 General information
In this chapter, you will find information on the devices that have
been built into the Hobby caravan. This information refers only to the
operation of these devices.
To some extent, the devices described are special accessories.
For further information on the individual built-in devices, please refer
to the separate operating instructions that have been included in the
blue pack found in the vehicle.
Built-in devices may only be repaired by specialists.
Only the device manufacturer‘s original spare parts must
be used for maintenance and repair work.
Any changes to the built-in devices as well as non-com-
pliance with the rules for use will cause the guarantee to
become void and lead to the exclusion of liability claims.
Furthermore, the operating licence for the device will
become void and, in some countries, this means that the
operating licence for the vehicle is also void.

The space behind the heater may not be used as stowage
space.

10.2 Heating
10.2.1 Truma-S hot-air heater
Before first use
• Several air outlet nozzles have been built into the caravan. Pipes
lead the hot air to the air outlet nozzles. Set the air vents so that
the hot air can escape to where it is required.
• Check whether the flue is unobstructed. Any covers must always
be removed.
• Before the first ignition, ensure that the batteries in the automa-
tic ignitor are working properly.
• If necessary, fill the therme/boiler* with water.
• Use the control panel to switch the device on.
