No power.
Problem
Possible Solution
Check to be sure the power cord is plugged into an active outlet.
No picture.
Make sure the video cable is connected securely.
The cable may be damaged, try a cable that is known to work.
No sound
Make sure the audio cable is connected securely.
Remote Control does not
work.
The batteries may be exhausted. Replace the batteries.
The playback picture is
in poor quality or the
sound is distorted.
The disc is dirty. Use a clean cloth to clean the disc before
playback.
The video signal from the external component is copy-protected.
I can’t connect to the
internet and/or Network.
Check the internet connection, see section 4.3 to test the Network
internet connection.
If the Network Connection Test fails, make sure your modem and/or
router is turned on.
BD-Live isn’t working.
Please check if the disc is a legal copy and has BD-Live content.
The USB device may be full. Please erase BD-Live data in the HOME
Menu to make room for new data.
Change the USB device and then test again.
Review each of the menu settings in section 4.
Check the internet connection, see section 4.3 to test the
Network/internet connection.
Picture-in-picture is not
played with BD-Video.
Confirm whether the disc supports picture-in-picture.
The unit is on but cannot
be operated.
Disconnect the AC power supply cord, wait one minute, then reconnect it.
The remote control is too far from the Blu-ray Player or does not
point at the Blu-ray Player.
