3-1 Description of Structure
(1) Differences in structure between DZ-BD7HA and DZ-BD70A
Although the DZ-BD7HA and DZ-BD70A resemble each other, the shapes of the following compo-
nents differ greatly, depending on whether the HDD is mounted or not:
a) Side case R (including presence/absence of HDD cover)
b) Side case L (presence/absence of DUBBING button)
c) Rear case (including presence/absence of HDD indicator
(2) Major unit/circuit board
(a) BD drive unit
(b) EVF unit
(c) Flash unit
(d) HDD unit (DZ-BD7HA only)
(e) LCD unit
(f) Lens unit
(g) 5MCMOS circuit board:
Relays the CMOS image sensor to the MAN circuit board.
On the parts list, this circuit board is registered as “Sensor Assy”, and a CMOS image sensor is
mounted on the board.
(h) AEL circuit board:
Supplies the analog video/audio signals, etc. to EVF unit, LCD unit and various output terminals,
etc. This board also incorporates an SD memory card slot.
(i) AVS circuit board:
Incorporates the AV output terminal.
