8. Removing SVP/SSVP

NOTICE:

This work takes about two hours. During the work, the Web Console cannot be used

for some time because of a rebooting of the SVP PC and veriﬁcation.

Inform the customer of the following before starting the removal.

1. During the removal, customer cannot use Web Console/Storage Navigator via a

customer PC.

2. When SNMP is being used:

•

cold start

trap is reported several times.

•

The obstacle trap which occurred during work may not be notiﬁed.

• SNMP command may not answer normally.

The following SIMs may occur during this work, just complete them when ﬁnished:

• bfe3a2 - Duplex SVP setup fail

• bf86a3 - SVP RAS Switch#1 remains

•

7ff2xx - Standby SVP fail
