13. Disassembly and reassembly of the piston and piston ring

• Long-nose pliers

• J-359 jig (No. 6695741) (piston pin extraction tool ass’y)

(1) Disassembly

Remove the Crank Worm Ass’y

before disassembly.

• Use long-nose pliers to remove the two Circlips

• Insert a hex. socket hd. bolt M5 x 12 into the

pushing side of the Piston Pin

the pin pullout bolt of the J-359 jig (piston pin

extraction tool ass’y) clockwise to pull out

CAUTION: Do not scratch Piston (M) [86].

• Remove the Piston Ring (XR1-1856)

by widening the gap of the piston

ring so as not to damage the periphery of the

firmly adhered, insert a gap gauge (T0.3)
