Excessive brake application may cause the
wheels to lock, reducing control over the
vehicle.

When slowing down the vehicle
,
coordination of the throttle (1), front (2)
and rear brake (3) is most important. To
stop the vehicle (in IBS), press the rear
brake lever for the application of front and
rear brakes simultaneously. However, for
more effective braking, it is advised to apply
both front and rear brake simultaneously,
keeping the throttle in close position.
•
To decelerate
, close the throttle.
Do not accelerate with the brakes applied,
this may lead to premature wear of brakes
and transmission parts.
