5.2.19.  Setting operating mode (Scanner Mode) 

In this menu the operating mode may be selected. If the Infrared Radiation Thermometer is operated with a 
HEITRONICS Scanner, the Scanner mode must be configured. When switching to Scanner mode the seri-
al interface is adjusted to the initial setting of the Scanner: 19200 Baud, 8 data bits, 1 stop bit, no parity, 
handshake ON.  
In standard mode the interface is adjusted to the preset settings of the KT19 II.
