3. Operation
Immerse the sensor at least 20 mm in the liquid. Failure to do so could result
in measuring errors and overheating.
3.1. System
Test
Immediately after switching on, all segments of the digital dis-
play should be visible for 2 seconds.
This is followed by the measuring channel test. The value 38.8
(with a tolerance of +/-0.2) should be displayed for 2 seconds.
If the displayed value lies within the specified tolerance, the appliance is correctly cali-
brated. If there is a bigger deviation, please return the appliance to the manufacturer for
calibration.
3.2. Temperature
Measurement
After the system test described above, the first temperature
measurement will appear with the °C symbol. The EKT 3001 is
now ready to use.
