For round cap termination:
1. Secure the 8-5/8

inch (219 mm) pipe,

using the exterior

pipelock hole on the

round flange of the

wall firestop.

For trapezoidal

termination:
1. Screw the cap to

the exterior wall

through the flanges

in the cap.

2. Seal the joint

between the pipe

and the exterior

firestop.
