Standard press seal HRD SG b40

Swing the standard press seal HRD SG b40 over the 

cable and push into the core drilling/liner until it is 

fl ush with the wall face (see fi g.: 8).

•

  Do not coat the outer sealing surface of the 

standard press seal HRD SG b40.

      

•

  The outer sealing surface of the standard 

press seal HRD SG b40 must be free from 

grease and dry.

      

•

  Segment rings must not overlap installation 

(see fi g.: 9)

.

Finally, tighten all the allen screws in a crosswise 

sequence until the relevant torque is reached 

(see 

table 1)

 (see fi g.: 10).

  

Tighten the allen screws evenly so that the press 

plates will not overlap.

 Disassemble  the  standard press seal

Disassembly takes place in reverse order to assem-

bly.

After disassembly, the press seal must be dis-

mantled into its individual components and recycled 

according to the valid environmental regulations.

  

The press seal must be secured against sliding 

out of the core bit/wall sleeve before starting 

disassembly

.

  

It must be ensured that the seal is depressurised 

before disassembly

.
