Operating instructions
ECL 660 S is a lighting effects set
assembled in the shape of a star
and consisting of six lights of differ-
ing colours along with scanner light
function and additional microphone
control.
1. Using the fitment
Connect ECL 660 S to the mains (Before
connecting to the mains, check that the
mains supply data on the model plate
correspond with those of your supply).
First of all switch on the ECL 660 S using
the ON/OFF switch.
Using the two control knobs on the front
of the control unit, you can select the
“Scanner lights” or “Microphone con-
trol” functions.
To operate ECL 660 S as scanner lights,
turn the “Music” control knob fully to
the left to its lowest setting. Using the
“Speed” control knob, you can adjust
the scanning speed by intervals.
The “Microphone control” function is ac-
tivated by the left-hand control knob. As
well as operating as scanner lights, the
lights now react to sounds which the in-
tegrated microphone picks up. You can
separately adjust the sensitivity of the
microphone with the “Music” control
knob. Using the “Speed” control, select
the desired scanning speed and adjust
the voice sensitivity of the integrated mi-
crophone using the “Music” control. As
long as the microphone control is acti-
vated, the bulbs light up according to the
intensity of the sounds.
If the volume is too low, and the micro-
phone control is not picking up sounds,
the scanner lights run automatically at
the speed preset by you. The “Micro-
phone control” function is off when the
control knob is turned to the left to its
lowest setting.
2. Safety notes
• ECL 660 S is only for suitable for use
within closed rooms.
• Ensure there is sufficient air circulating
around the set. Never cover it whilst it
is in use.
• Do not use it within reach of children
and animals.
• Before changing bulbs, disconnect the
set from the power supply and leave it
to cool.
• Use only original bulbs rated at
230 V AC, 50 Hz, 40 Watts. Please do
not use normal bulbs.
• If a bulb does not light up, first of all
check that it is inserted correctly, or re-
place the faulty bulb. If this does not
remedy the fault, consult your dealer
or ourselves direct.
• NB: Do not connect up bulbs with
more than 40 W per channel. The
control unit is only suitable for
connecting lights with a nominal rating
of 230 Volts AC.
3. Changing faulty bulbs
Unplug the set from the mains and let
the lights cool down for a few minutes.
Unscrew the faulty bulbs anti-clockwise

direkt an uns.
• Achtung: Pro Kanal nicht mehr als
40 Watt Lampenleistung anschließen.
Das Steuermodul eignet sich nur zum
Anschluss von Glühlampen mit einer
Nennspannung von 230 Volt AC.
3. Wechsel von defekten Glühlampen
Ziehen Sie den Netzstecker aus der
Steckdose und lassen Sie die Lampen
ein paar Minuten lang abkühlen.
Schrauben Sie die defekten Glühlampen
gegen den Uhrzeigersinn aus der Fas-
sung und ersetzen Sie diese nur gegen
neue originale Glühlampen. Nachdem
Sie die neuen Glühlampen im Uhrzeiger-
sinn wieder eingedreht haben, ist das
Gerät wieder betriebsbereit.
4. Entsorgungshinweis
Altgeräte, die mit dem
abgebildeten Symbol gekenn-
zeichnet sind, dürfen nicht mit
dem Hausmüll entsorgt werden.
Sie müssen sie bei einer Sammelstel-
le für Altgeräte (informieren Sie sich bit-
te bei Ihrer Gemeinde) oder bei Ihrem
Händler, bei dem Sie sie gekauft haben,
abgeben. Diese sorgen für eine umwelt-
freundliche Entsorgung.
5. Pflege und Gewährleistung
Trennen Sie das Gerät vor dem Reini-
gen gegebenenfalls von anderen Kom-
ponenten und verwenden Sie bitte keine
aggressiven Reiniger.
Das Gerät wurde einer sorgfältigen End-
kontrolle unterzogen. Sollten Sie trotz-
dem Grund zu einer Beanstandung ha-
ben, senden Sie uns das Gerät mit der
Kaufquittung ein. Wir bieten eine Ge-
währleistung von 2 Jahren ab Kaufda-
tum.
Für Schäden, die durch falsche Handha-
bung, unsachgemäße Nutzung oder Ver-
schleiß verursacht wurden, übernehmen
wir keine Haftung.
Technische Änderungen sind vorbe-
halten.
Keine Garantie auf Leuchtmittel.
