interpretation of these symbols will allow you to operate the product better and safer.

The following signal words and meanings are intended to explain the levels of risk associated with this product.

Indicates a hazardous situation, which, if not avoided, will result in death or serious injury.
WARNING:
Indicates a hazardous situation, which, if not avoided, could result in death or serious injury.
CAUTION:
Indicates a hazardous situation, that, if not avoided, may result in minor or moderate injury.
NOTICE:
(Without Safety Alert Symbol) Indicates information considered important, but not related
to a potential injury (e.g. messages relating to property damage).
Check for misalignment or binding of moving
parts, breakage of parts, and any other condition
that may affect the spot cleaner’s operation.
If damaged, have the product serviced before
using.
Many accidents are caused by poorly
maintained products.
Use only accessories that are recommended by
the manufacturer for your model.
Accessories that
may be suitable for one product may create a risk
of injury when used on another product.
Do not let gasoline, oils, petroleum-based
products

etc., come in contact with plastic parts.
They contain chemicals that can damage, weaken,
or destroy plastic.
CAUTION - To reduce the risk of damage:

Avoid picking up hard, sharp objects with this
product, as they may cause damage.
• Do not use sharp objects to clean out hose as
they can cause damage.
• Store appropriately indoors in a dry place. Do not
expose machine to freezing temperatures.
• To assist in reducing drying time, be certain the
area is well ventilated when using detergents and
other cleaners with this machine.
• To help prevent matting and resoiling, avoid
contact with carpets until they are dry. Keep
children and pets away from carpets until they
are completely dry.
• Do not store spot cleaner with solution in tanks.
• Water will drip from the underside of the product
during and after use and may puddle. To avoid
damage to wood and laminate flooring and to
avoid potential slip hazard after use, do not leave
the product on wood and laminate surfaces.
Remove to a hard surface and place unit on
absorbent material (such as a towel) to soak up
drips.
Save these instructions. Refer to them frequently
and use them to instruct others who may use
this spot cleaner. If you loan someone this spot
cleaner, loan them these instructions also.
