1.4 The correct way to add salt:
A.
Turn on the pool circulation pump and let the water circulation begin.
B.
Turn off the chlorinator.
C.
Test the current salt content of the pool.
D.
Calculate the amount of salt needed to add to the pool according to the
corresponding formula.
E.
Add salt to the pool around the side of the pool so that the salt can dilute quickly
and evenly in the water. Do not allow salt to accumulate on the bottom of the pool.
If necessary, stir the water at the bottom of the pool so that the salt can dissolve
completely.
F.
Run the circulation pump for 24 hours to allow salt to spread evenly in the pool.
G.
Test the salt concentration of the pool again 24 hours later to see if it has reached
the optimal level.
H.
When the pool salt concentration has reached the desired level, turn on the salt
chlorinator and other equipment. Once the chlorine system has started, set the
desired level of chlorine production.
1.5 Reduce the salt concentration:
The only way to reduce the salt concentration is to drain some of the pool water and
replace it with fresh water.
1.6 To reduce the loss of chlorine caused by UV radiation on the outdoor pool water, you
should administer 20-100 mg/l Cyanuric Acid as a chlorine stabilizer.

Salt Chlorinator Maintenance
2.1 Electrolysis cell maintenance
To ensure proper operation of the salt chlorination plant, the electrolysis cell should be
checked every three months after cleaning the filter. Follow the steps below to complete
the check :
A.
Before removing the electrolysis cell, close the inlet and outlet valves and turn off
the salt chlorinator for 5-10 minutes.
B.
After removing the electrolysis cell, check for flaky sediments, debris, or light-
colored layers in the interior surface. Carefully clean with clean water.
C.
If there is a white calcified substance on the titanium plate, immerse the titanium
plate in 4: 1 water salt acid to remove the calcified substance. For your safety, wear
rubber gloves and eye protection.
D.
If there are important sediments that cannot be removed alone, please contact the
retailer for professional advice.
