● Do not use the product inside a moving vehicle e.g.
inside a truck.
● Do not use the product in explosive environments.
● Do not let the product touch foodstuff.
● Do not turn the handle to stop the product.
● Do not overload the product. Refer to”9 Technical
data” on page 27
2.3 Safety instructions for lifting/
moving heavy objects
● Do not walk or stand below a suspended load.
● Keep onlookers, especially children and pets at a safe
distance.
● Follow the instructions how to safely load the cargo on
the product. Refer to illustration shown on Figure 13-14
● Handle heavy and bulky loads with care. The load must
be well balanced. Do not make sudden moves with the
load. Do not allow the load to swing. If needed use
approved straps, chains and hooks etc.
● Keep away any body parts from moving parts of the
product during operation.
● Do not lift person or animal with the product.
3 Assembly
3.1 To assemble the product
Caution! If you do not obey these instructions, there
is a risk of damage to the product, other materials or the
adjacent area.
Tools needed for assembly: Hammer

Make sure that the safety pin (A) is correctly inserted
on the side of the pump housing. (Figure 2)

Attach the steer handle, make sure to install it in the
correct direction. Install the handle pin. Lock one side
with a spring pin. (Figure 3)

Pull the steer handle down to release the safety pin.
Move the position lever to its lowest position and
remove the safety pin. (Figure 4)

Pull the chain through the hole on the steer handle.
(Figure 5)
Note! The chain for the release valve runs through the hole
on the pin handle at the bottom of the steer handle. Make
sure that you put the chain through the hole in the pin and
make sure it does not get pinched.
2.2 Safety instructions for operation
Warning! If you do not obey these instructions, there
is a risk of death or injury.

Read the warning instructions that follow before you
use the product.
● Do not use the product if you are tired, ill or under the
influence of alcohol, drugs or medicine. This has a
negative effect on your vision, alertness, coordination
and judgement.
● Do not allow any children or anyone who is unfamiliar
with the product to use it.
● Do not use the product if it is damaged.
● Do not modify the product.
● The product must only be used for its intended
purpose.
● Only use the product in daylight, or in good artificial
lighting. Keep work area clean and well lit. Cluttered or
dark areas invite accidents.
● Use personal protective equipment. Wear safety
gloves doing maintenance, repairs and when you
clean the product – risk of shearing hazard.
● Wear safety shoes when you operate the product –
risk of pinch injury.
● Dress properly. Do not wear loose clothing or
jewellery. Keep your hair, clothing and gloves away
from moving parts. Loose clothes, jewellery or long
hair can be caught in moving parts.
● If the product is damaged it must be repaired, and/or
damaged parts replaced before it is used again.
● If any risks not described in these instructions should
emerge when using the product, contact an
authorized service center.
● Use the product on a stable and level surface.
● This product can be used by children from 16 years of
age and by persons with physical, sensorial or mental
disabilities, or persons who lack experience or
knowledge, if they are supervised or receive
instructions concerning the safe use of the product
and understand the risks involved.
● Do not use the product on slope or in strong wind –
risk of the load sliding off the forks and causing
injuries.
● Do not use the product to transport people.
● Do not use the product as a car jack.
